This Brunch was a High-Level networking gathering of Uganda’s influential and emerging artists, curators, gallerists, managers, producers, journalists, promoters, and supporters from across the visual, digital, craft, and performing arts to celebrate their contribution towards social change and promoting civic change through their creativity.

The past unfortunate events including the pandemic, rising costs of living, and the war in Ukraine among others had had a debilitating toll on artists’ mental health, creativity, and imagination. At KQ Hub Africa, we believe championing alternative spaces that cultivate intentional rest and self-care can help invigorate and spur imagination and creativity. This Brunch was our way of ushering in the year and the beginning of new artistic encounters and collaborations.

We hope, our contribution as always can go a long way to help keep the Creative and Culture Industry in Uganda as one big family that communes and breaks bread, that networks and learns from each other, that celebrates and shares together while on this journey of using our creativity to highlight social-economic issues the underpin our times.
